The new JAC T6 is a pickup truck introduced in 2014 by JAC Motors. Powered by a 2.0-litre gasoline engine that produces up to 177 horsepower, it is available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, depending on the variant. Available variants include the 2.0 VVT Double Cab Lux(108KW-190Nm), 2.8 TDI Double Cab Lux(68KW-210Nm), 1.9 TDI Double Cab Comfort(100KW-320Nm) and 2.8 TDI Double Cab 4WD Lux(68Kw-210Nm). Standout safety features include an ABS, EBD and two airbags. The pickup offers a 724 km driving range from a 76-litre fuel tank and 10.5//100Km fuel consumption, with CO2 emissions measuring at 244 g/km. For a workhorse, the double cab bakkie does not run short on modern tech features. The double cab flexes contemporary features like park-distance-control, Bluetooth connectivity and a multifunction steering wheel. With a sedan-inspired design, the bakkie is suitable for work and leisure.
